 Say what you'll pay

First of all, find the product you're looking to buy and say what you’ll pay for it. It’s completely free to list what you're after, there’s no commitment and no-one gets your email address.

On Aroxo there are no right or wrong prices. To help you set your price at the right level, we have a thermometer which helps you discover what prices are most likely to work in the Aroxo marketplace.

When you tell Aroxo how much you’ll pay for an item we create what we call a Want-it Note. This is like a little advert which tells Aroxo sellers what you want, and how much you want to pay for it!

And that’s your hard work done! No searching endless websites, no auctions to monitor. Just sit back and let Aroxo find sellers for you.

 Receive offers from other Aroxo users

This is the really exciting bit. Once you’ve created your Want-it Note, Aroxo matches you with sellers who are looking to sell the product you want to buy. These sellers can then send you personalised 'offers'. Offers on Aroxo aren’t like an advert you might see in the paper because they are personalised for you and detail very clearly what’s on offer. Take a look at the example below:

 

The offer very clearly shows what is being offered, as well as how closely it matches what you said you were looking for. In this example the buyer wanted a 16gb iPod Touch, but has been offered a 32gb iPod touch (which is better), but the price is higher than he wanted to pay. We look at all of these factors and estimate how good a match it is for you.

Your Want-it Note will stay in the Aroxo system collecting offers until, either it expires, you accept or negotiate on an item, or you click:

We also give you loads of information about the seller so you can make an informed choice about whether you should buy from them or not. You can read feedback on the seller and can also read their sales terms and conditions and their postage options before you check out - we hate it when people hide this!

You may receive an offer from a special type of seller in the Aroxo system called an ESP seller. These are sellers who we’ve looked at closely and who have previously established good customer service, a good experience online and have a good profile. You can recognise an Aroxo ESP by this logo  next to their names. These guys are Aroxo Ninjas.

Buying on Aroxo

This is the good bit! What do you do when you’re in shops, buying something face to face? You negotiate of course! Well, now you can do exactly the same thing on Aroxo.

Once you've received an offer from a seller you can buy the product straight away by clicking the Accept button. Alternatively, you can negotiate with the seller! Negotiating on Aroxo is simple and fast and it might just grab you an unbelievable deal. 

Once it’s all done and you’ve received the item, all that’s left is to leave feedback for the seller and they’ll leave feedback for you.

What if there is a problem with my order?

It’s a good question, and we’re glad you asked. Aroxo keeps track of everything you’ve bought using Aroxo, which means you have one place where you can access all your purchases. Just sign into Aroxo and go to the “My Account” page to view your buying history. Here you can see what you’ve bought and easily contact the seller:
